Hey Y'all- this CFBC group is largely the same group that plays at the Klein HS Saturday game. It is a bunch of local co-ed players, including maybe half that have some traveling/tournament experience. A good portion of us - maybe a fourth or a third - are members of CFBC, but we are an open game. Since it is a church crowd, there is not much cursing etc compared to other ulty crowds. We play on the outfield of the softball field, which cannot be seen from the street.
A few of us join up with the main Houston group, HUC (Houston Ultimate Community) for league play or local tourneys, but we mostly just enjoy the short drive to our local fields, matching up against the same ol' ppl time after time. Some Woodlands ppl come down to play regularly. Some Penultimates come over. Bigger crowds in summer when the college kids come back home. The game is pretty friendly to beginners, so please come and introduce yourself.
