http://meetup.com/bostonfrisbeeSundays: 1:00 PM
Fields: Boston Common
Description: Hi There! You've just stumbled onto the quirkiest group of Bostonians that have a love for the flying disc and each other. We play ultimate frisbee during the day and night. We have some modified rules to make ultimate very welcoming for beginners:
1. Pressure-free game play; We don't keep score
2. You have as much time to hold on to the disc as you like (i.e. no stall counts)
3. Sidelines are lax... if you catch it out of bounds, you walk it back in.
4. It's just pick up, so we don't play any specific strategies (e.g. vertical stack or any type zone)
If you are new to ultimate, then come join us! :-)

Description: We're just a bunch of bros and girl-bros who like to play Ultimate. It's all very informal, and all skill levels are welcome. Games are not at a set time, we play whenever the weather's nice and we have enough people feelin' the vibe. We play most often in the summer and during school breaks, as a lot of us are college students and not in the area year-round.
We play at Lime Acres park, right across the street from Lincoln Middle School on Jenckes Hill Road. Sometimes, we play at Wide World of Indoor Sports in North Smithfield, but that's only in the winter when it's snowy and we're all jonesing for a little disc action.
Feel free to join the FRISBEE CREW facebook group. That's usually how we spread the word, along with mass texting. We're always looking for new people, don't be shy, and come play with us.
Oh, and I'd recommend you bring some cleats and water. And bring discs, if you want us all to love you forever. Which we will.
