Sunday Afternoon Ultimate

Description: We've played weekly since 2002. Mostly intermediate players, but beginners are always welcome and included!
-Gatorade and water are provided for free!
-The only Sundays we officially do not play are Superbowl, Easter, and Mother's Day. If it isn't one of those three days we will be there, rain or shine.
-Feel free to email me ahead or just show up!
House rules:
-We play games to 7, which makes time for 3 or 4 games with short breaks in between.
-We have no stall count, but we keep things moving nonetheless.
-Trash talk is kept to a minimum.
Directions:
We play at the Tuffree Jr. High fields adjacent to Tri-City Park
-From Bastenchury between Placentia and Kramer turn north onto Tuffree.
-Follow Tuffree until it becomes a parking lot.
-Look for us on the soccer fields

Description: A friendly pick-up game with players of all skill levels. All are welcome to this game that is usually played either at Victory Park in Pasadena (North of the 210 on Altadena), at Caltech's North Field (SE of the intersection of Wilson and California) or Wilson Middle in Pasadena (Del Mar and Madre in Pasadena).

But if their is for some reason as to why we wont play i will inform every player that we wont be meeting. their is a mix in skill levels. we normally have about 6 or 7 players on a team and play games up to 10 then switch up the teams amd continue playing. we are always looking for new players male or female. we dont have an exact field we play at but we have two parks either Lomita park off Eshelman and Lomita (on the baseball fields) or Ser la Brea park just passed Lomita park. so if we're not at Lomita then we're at Ser La Brea and if we're not at Ser La Brea we're at Lomita. all we ask is that u bring water, appropriate attire, and of course your A-Game. hope to see you soon. Description: We have a tight field for the first 30-45 min due to kids soccer. But then it opens up and we have all the space we need. We are getting 6-7's playing on time around 7:30pm.
There is an email list with updates on game locations and times. Email me if you want to be added to the email list or go to google.groups.com and join "La Canada Ultimate". We use the field northwest of John Muir HS as an alternate field.
Beginners to experienced players are welcome, but it is a mid-level, casual game...not overly intense! If you cannot relax and have fun with first-timers, do not come please! Many players play in the LAOUT.org leagues.
The fields are nice and flat, good condition generally but the grass take a beating in the fall with soccer and football practices.

Description: We play where Ocean Park Blvd. hits the beach. From the 10W, exit Lincoln and head South. Turn right on Ocean Park and follow to the beach. Parking available at the beach for $6 or in nearby metered lots on Ocean Ave. Or, better yet, ride your bike!
This game is definitely on ultimate time - in the summer it may not get started until around 4. All levels welcome.
For public transportation, go to www.mta.net and use the trip planner. LA bus 333 goes down Venice Blvd. and drops you off two blocks from where we play.
