A background in organized play is required, as are reliable throwing/catching/cutting ability at an advanced level. Most of all: value the disc, please.

This pickup runs three seasons (spring, summer, fall) and requires registration for each season's event or as a floater on a week-by-week basis. This is not specifically a beginner clinic group, but usually there will be players on the sidelines willing to help with basic technique. Defense usually plays basic person defense with a sideline force. On offense, ability to set a stack, and throw forehands and backhands is useful.
Expectation that we will be playing full field 6v6 last-back style pickup. Depending on numbers this may change but the goal is to give opportunities for full field play. This location also often has Goaltimate set up as well!
The game is played in the newly renovated turf field in the middle of the track, south end of Astoria Park. 10 min walk from N train to Astoria Blvd, free parking lot for drivers, or curbside Citibike docks.

New to Brooklyn, or interested in trying ultimate frisbee or picking it up again after time away from the game? Come join our morning game. We play Tuesday to Friday at 7 a.m., and weekends around 9 a.m., in or near Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Players of all skill levels and experience are welcome.
We use the google group to organize games and communicate game on/off calls. There is a limited number of game organizers who are permitted to post to the group. If you are interested in playing, reply by email to the organizer (do not post on the Google group) and look for an email/post by the organizer to the group for a game on/off call. If game on call is made, you know what to do...come out and play.
Community game open to all skill levels! Former club players to beginners playing together at Anderson Park in Upper Montclair. And the game is year round (sun, snow, rain, whatever) on the weekends (mostly Saturday, sometimes Sunday)with the occasional weekday evening game during the summer. During the winter, we generally migrate over to Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, on the lower baseball fields. Start time is 9a, which is when people are starting to roll in to stretch, cleat up and start throwing. First pull by 915! (at least that's the goal ...). Saturdays are more reliable than Sundays and we also occasionally do a game on holiday mornings if people are off work/school.
A wildly diverse group of people playing a game which bears a passing resemblance to Ultimate. Anybody with a good heart and an enthusiastic attitude is welcome.
As of March 2026, we're playing on Sunday afternoons, time and place varying based on field availability. Soon we'll start playing Wednesday nights.

This is a family friendly ultimate frisbee game that began in 2010 with some local synagogue goers. Participants are a mix of pre-teens and teens, their parents, and everything in between. It is a very friendly game, but still quite competitive, and many participants have been playing for decades and were on college or other competitive teams.
Games go on as long as the weather permits, typically taking a winter hiatus from Dec to March or so.

Note: We usually play 5 adults 2 youth per team at a time, so children typically rotate in.
The game started in 2010 and brings together a super-friendly group of locals. While we do play with youth and teens, the game is still very competitive and many players played in college or play in local leagues.

Game time is Saturday at 4pm, but we start at 3pm in November after we turn back the clocks.
Beginner friendly pickup and all ages welcome! We primarily play on the New Providence High School turf (called Lieder Field on Google maps) but will use the football or baseball grass field right next to it if taken.

We are a friendly beginner/advanced beginner co-ed group out of Parsippany. We are always looking for new people to meet and join us for a game. Weather permitting, we play on Sundays at Veterans Memorial Park at 10 am, and from April to September, we also play on Thursday nights at Veterans Memorial Park at 5:30 pm. As we do not have a permit we have to shift our venue based on town events. Our playtime is around 2 hours with 1st pull being around 10 minutes after meetup time.

Game is 7 v 7 Ultimate Frisbee - we have a good mix of veterans & newbies. All are welcome. We always try to make an enjoyable experience for those new to the game and also have plenty of skilled players to make for a competitive game. Bring a WHITE shirt, DARK shirt, water, and appropriate attire. Cleats are also helpful.

All skill levels and ages welcome! Very beginner friendly. We usually meet at 10 AM on Saturdays, but occasionally we play on Sunday, depending on player availability.
We're a group of pretty casual disc players! Mostly beginners with interest in having a good time and maintaining spirit of the game. Typically, we play on a reduced field size depending on attendance and skill level of players. As warm-up, we toss the disc for about 15 minutes before I set up the field.
