Description: A bunch of friends just getting together to play some Ultimate. This isn't really for a specific date but more of a contact list. If you contact me (James Kern-drumdude4u@gmail.com) and are interested in playing some pick up games I will add you to the list and contact you. We have several back up locations in South Philly incase of scheduling conflicts and what not.
As of now it does not have a facebook/any other kind of group organization but if I get enough interest I will certainly start one up.

Description: Game has recently been moved to Penn Park, because of bad playing conditions (no grass, lots of dust and dirt) at U City High Field. No cleats are allowed on this field, and we respect that rule. We have been trying to see if U City High field will be open again (currently the HS football team practices there until ~620)
We cancel sometimes due to inclimate weather or conflicting use on fields. You should get on the email list for updates on the day of play: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/upennpickup/ ... that's just a good thing to do in general, since we can discuss anything that isn't convenient to discuss on the field ;-)

Description: Ambler Ultimate has the distinction of being the longest running pickup Ultimate game in the world. It was started as a place for beginners to learn the game away from the pressures of the competitive Ultimate league. Although we now have players of all skill levels the game retains that initial flavor. Currently we are playing (Thanks Myers!) at the Temple University Ambler Campus. We play on Wednesday nights Spring through Fall during Daylight Savings Time(March 23 - October 1st). Play usually starts anywhere from 5:45pm to 6pm. Beginners are not only welcomed but are encouraged to come out. We alter the rules to take the pressure off if you are a beginner.
Bring a white shirt, and a dark shirt with you so we can divide the teams evenly and don't forget to bring water to drink!
If the game is listed in the calendar and there aren't any posts below that indicate it's cancelled then the game is on.

Description: Games are played at Savich Fields, East Main Street, Marlton NJ.
8 teams mixed coed. All skill level welcomed.
Season begins week after Memorial Day and last through mid-August.
League games are played on Monday and pickup games are held every Wednesday starting two weeks before the season and lasts until two weeks after.

The location will be at the fish hatchery. To get there go south on Cedar Crest Blvd. from route 78, turn left at Fish Hatchery road (third light south of 78.) Continue on Fish Hatchery road for about 1/4 mile.
On the left side of the road is the fish hatchery. Turn right at the bottom of the hill, field is on your left. Just look for people throwing discs.
