Description: As of Sept 2011 we're playing at 38th and Filbert (University City High School Field) pretty much every Tuesday and Thursday. There's a football team that practices there after school, so it's more like 6 now ... and we stop earlier because of early fall sunset. We cancel sometimes due to inclimate weather. You should get on the email list for updates on the day of play: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/upennpickup/

Fields: grass
Description: Ambler Ultimate has the distinction of being the longest running pickup Ultimate game in the world. It was started as a place for beginners to learn the game away from the pressures of the competitive Ultimate league. Although we now have players of all skill levels the game retains that initial flavor. Currently we are playing (Thanks Myers!) at the Temple University Ambler Campus. We play on Wednesday nights Spring through Fall during Daylight Savings Time(March 23 - October 1st). Play usually starts anywhere from 5:45pm to 6pm. Beginners are not only welcomed but are encouraged to come out. We alter the rules to take the pressure off if you are a beginner.
Bring a white shirt, and a dark shirt with you so we can divide the teams evenly and don't forget to bring water to drink!
If the game is listed in the calendar and there aren't any posts below that indicate it's cancelled then the game is on.
