Sundays: 2:00pm - 4:30ish

Fields: AG High Practice Field, Grass; South of Pismo Pier, Beach
Description: A friendly, high-intensity game. Goaltimate is a modified ultimate game that is played on a half field. Goals are scored when the disc is advanced through an arch. Game play is intense, non-stop, and fast paced with lots of cutting, quick passes, and hockey-style subbing.

New players welcome but there are always some experienced players as well. NOTE: we occasionally change it up to play beach ultimate at Pismo Beach (north of the pier).

We play rain or shine. Game is usually on but we use GroupMe for RSVP: https://groupme.com/join_group/52401464/6ZdsvXbM

Details on location are always posted.

It's usually best to park on Castillo Del Mar.

Bring a white and a dark shirt.

We have decided to become more official with our local pickup games and seek out insurance to help cover our liability and improve our safety. Costs will go towards the insurance policy, CPR certification and first aid supplies, and any overage can be used for ultimate events, discs, etc.

To register for pickup ultimate and goaltimate in SLO County, please do the following:

1. Complete the waiver of liability (available at the field)

2. Make payment to Joel via check or PayPal to pismobeachvet@gmail.com to cover our insurance and misc costs:
-$35 for the entire year
-$15 for a season
-$15 "out-of-towner" annual fee
-$5 for drop-in play
-First few games will be free to new players so please bring friends!

3. This registration will cover: SLO Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri lunch goaltimate, SLO Tuesday night ultimate, SLO Saturday morning ultimate, Friday night goaltimate, AGHS Sunday goaltimate, and any Central Coast Ultimate sanctioned leagues and tournaments.

COVID rules are currently in place: no hand checks or high fives, no "hard" mark, social distancing on sidelines, hand sanitize before and after playing, masks recommended. Games are capped at 10 players.

?( 2012.02.14 21:23 ) : Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog? I'm not very tecinhcal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Thanks
