Sundays: 10:00

Fields: Grass
Description: We try to play a pickup game every Sunday at 10:00 year round, as long as we have a minimum of 6 players. Please send an email to dfalces@gmail.com for details and to let us know you want to play. All are welcome, both beginners and experienced players are invited to play.

Bring both white and dark shirts, it helps separate the teams. There is a water fountain in the park but it's about 500m away, so best to bring a drink for convenience. Careful: the local park police, who have figured out that we start at 10:00, enforce the no bike riding in the park rule, which can result in a sharp fine!

Amsterdam casual pickup

Website: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ultimate.amsterdam/

Thursdays: 18:00

Fields: Grass, cleats allowed
Description: During the winter time (From October to April) we meet Sunday afternoons at 2:30pm in Museumplein, in the large grassy area behind the van Gogh Museum.

During daylight savings (from April to October) we meet Thursday at 6pm in Erasmuspark and then BBQ afterwards if the weather is cooperative. People start throwing around 6 or 6:30 and then we play for a couple hours.

We try to play rain or shine, especially in the summer season. The only thing that normally stops us is extreme high wind. Weather forecasts in the Netherlands are notoriously unreliable, so we won't call the game off until that afternoon. Most years the game is never called off in the summer season. Check the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ultimate.amsterdam/ for confirmation.

We have jerseys so you don't need to worry about shirt colors. Drinking water is available in both locations.

The game is pretty casual, and people of all skill levels are welcome. We have everyone from beginners to veterans. Cleats are a good idea, but not necessary.
