Sundays: 2:00 PM

Fields: Grass, outdoor, main field (top side field if main field is taken)
Description: Beginner to experienced... beginner friendly. Arrival time is 2:00 PM, and the game usually starts up by about 2:20 or 2:30. We play hard, but we're there to have fun, get some exercise, and get some sun... bad or overly competitive attitudes are usually not very welcome. We play rain or shine, unless the temp goes over 105', or it's pouring rain, or it's a major holiday (Easter, Superbowl, Christmas, etc.). We've been playing since early 2000's. We play at Jr. High Park, out back of Brea Jr. High School at Lambert and Brea Blvd. If you show up and see softball or soccer games then just look for the people throwing the discs around. If you can't get through to Ron then call or text Phil D. at 909-569-3654.

Huntington Beach Ultimate

Contact: Mike Born
Phone: 310.596.1947
Website: https://mborn11free.wixsite.com/hbultimatefrisbee

Mondays: noon
Wednesdays: noon
Fridays: noon

Fields: Grass
Description: Welcome to the most consistent Ultimate in Southern California. Three days a week - ALWAYS a game.
Intermediate, with beginners and advanced players welcome.
Coed, many active female players!
Games start by 12:20 pm, rain or shine - we play on the north side of the field, just south of Edinger Ave.
Usually a fairly stiff breeze, since we're near the beach, which allows you (even advanced players) to work on all your throws. Close to the beach also means the weather is perfect: Cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
We provide freshly laundered pinnies, so no need to bring light/dark shirts.
We use a stall count of 5 to speed up the game and make you a better thrower - starting at 5 and counting down so it is easy to remember (stall turnover if hit 0)
Between the stiff breeze and the abbreviated stall count, this game is much more pass oriented than other venues - not nearly as many repetitive long throws into the end zone to the fastest/tallest player - this makes it much more enjoyable to all the players since there is much more handling of the disk
Friendly environment - a good group of players. If you feel you must go through someone to make the defensive play, then this group is probably not for you.
ALWAYS a game - haven't missed a game on MWF for years - playing for more than 20 years.
Have fun and come on out, we love to see new faces - feel free to text me!

Overall average skill level, we have some young athletic guys and some older guys. It is mostly men, however all are welcome and we appreciate having new faces.
