Description: We play pretty much every Sunday at 2:00 (game usually starts up closer to 2:20ish) excluding Superbowl Sunday, Mother's Day, Easter, and any major holiday that falls on a Sunday - major downpours are iffy. We play at Brea Junior High Park out back of Brea Junior High School located at Lambert Rd. and Brea Blvd - best to enter on Country Lane just to the east of the school and look for people throwing the discs around. We've been playing for 20 years or so, and new players, young and old players, male and female players of pretty much any skill level are welcome to join us.
The only thing we don't like out there are bad attitudes. We play to win, but more than that we play to have fun, get outdoors, get some exercise, and play hard at the coolest sport on the planet. Come and join us.
As a heads up, we play intersquad games about every three or so months so please contact Ron (call or text) at 714-273-8602 or Phil (call or text) at 909-569-3654 and make sure we're not playing intersquad that Sunday. Welcome to the most fun Ultimate Frisbee games in Southern California. We have so much fun, we play three days a week, including holidays (e.g. Memorial Day)
Intermediate, with beginners and advanced players welcome.
Coed, multiple active female players!
Games start by 12:30 pm, rain or shine - we play on the south west side of the field.
Usually a fairly stiff breeze, since we're near the beach, which allows you (even advanced players) to work on all your throws. Close to the beach also means the weather is perfect: Cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
We provide freshly laundered pinnies, so no need to bring light/dark shirts.
We use a stall count ending at 7 to speed up the game and make you a better thrower. We don't keep score (to eliminate arguments) until 1:15, when we play a friendly game - first to 7 points wins bragging rights.
Between the stiff breeze and the abbreviated stall count, this game is much more possession, pass-oriented than other venues - not nearly as many repetitive long throws into the end zone to the fastest/tallest player - this makes it much more enjoyable for all the players since there is much more handling of the disk (except for maybe the fastesttallest dudes). :')
Friendly environment - a good group of players. If you feel you must go through someone to make the defensive play, then this group is probably not for you.
Playing as a group for more than 20 years - because we welcome visitors, we keep our numbers up, since newbies tend to stick with us.

We play Wednesday nights (weather and numbers permitting) under lights we set up on the beach at the end of Rose Ave. The game is mixed 4 on 4 on a lined, regulation size field. All levels and genders are welcome! Field Setup starts at 7:15, with warmups starting at 7:45pm and the first pull at 8pm. We usually play until 9-9:30, but will go until 10 if we have numbers and legs.
We provide tunes and brightly colored pinnies that are easy to see at night, so all you need to bring is water and some layers, as it can get chilly by the time we finish and clean up.
There is no charge to register or play, but please use the website link above to fill out our waiver before playing.
Parking: There’s a $5 lot at the end of Rose Ave (drive across the walkway into the lot). If you’re ok with a walk, free street parking can be found off Rose along Pacific or further up along Hampton, though it can fill up fast. Any lots with signs advertising parking are a ripoff! Either pay in the official Rose Lot or find a spot on the street.

We wear cleats, play by standard rules and have fun. Usually we are warming up shortly after 8:00 and play until 9:45. Feel free to show up late and hop on a team, or leave early if needed. We usually have 2-4 subs per team, so no worries if you are out of breath after a point.
Feel free to text me for the fastest response. Park on the street and walk down the path to the field. It's in a valley so there is never wind. We do Friday Groupme app posts to see who's coming/communicate any last-minute change, but 95% of of the time it's at Pinecrest Park (Solana Park is our backup) and have been playing consistently for over 20 yrs.
Bring light and dark T-shirt. A water fountain is nearby but no bathrooms. Plenty of shade for subs, and a playground for any littles!

Bring a black, white, and red jersey.
Yellow and orange jerseys are acceptable, basically we want to differentiate that 3rd team being obviously color, not dark enough to be confused with black. So red is a great option!
If we have too many players for 2 teams, but not enough for 4, we split everyone into 3 teams. Games are played to 2 points, winner stays on. Teams can have a maximum of winning 4 games in a row, and then have a mandatory game off.
And it's just $3 to join!
