Saturday, Sunday - 1 pm (Check GroupMe for status/location)
Check FB/GroupMe for the most up to date info.
All games are at Penn Park unless noted otherwise; check the turfs first, then field behind tennis courts, and then Highline (31st and Chestnut). Occasionally, games in the wintertime may be at area fields that are lit.
Join us on FB (https://www.facebook.com/groups/pennparkfrisbee) and GroupMe (https://forms.gle/5SKrwBQ3s2KjBx7h8) for the most current and any last minute pickup information. *To combat GroupMe spam and bots, complete the survey to get the GroupMe link.
We are a diverse, co-ed frisbee pickup group and we welcome players of all skill levels. We play at Penn Park (https://goo.gl/maps/BcNA7); look to the turf fields first, then Highline (31st and Chestnut) and then the grass fields as a last resort (behind the tennis courts near the stadium). Bring cleats, a light/dark shirt and a frisbee; if you have cones, bring them! Make every effort to be on time since space at Penn Park is limited and if we do not have numbers, other groups like soccer may take our space.
Look to GroupMe/FB messages for the most up to date information. If you are the first one there, you can send a GroupMe/FB message with the field location.
And finally, recruit! Bring your friends and those you know who have experience. People come and go as they graduate and with the PADA season, so we are always looking for new players. We are open to everyone.. from beginners to club players! We will spend time to teach during pickup games if needed. Its more fun when we consistently have 7s+!

Sundays: 9:45am
Fields: Grass
Description: Please join us for a friendly pick up game in Elkins Park in Cheltenham Township, immediately north of Philadelphia. We play from about 9:45-11:45am on Sundays, at Ogontz Park, located at the corner of High School Road and Church Road (use 8020 High School Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027 for GPS). Please note that we sometimes move the game to a different field if the weather is bad, so please reach out to the organizers or check Facebook to get on the distribution list.
Beginners are welcome; the game play is around the intermediate level, although we have a mix of beginner, intermediate, and experienced players, at a mix of age levels. Children who have in-game experience also sometimes play with us. Our only special rule is that the cooler your catch, the more leeway we will give you for being a little out of bounds, but it's always a group decision!
We play year round, and generally only cancel in the event of very extreme weather.
Look forward to seeing you on the fields!

KOP Pickup Ultimate
Contact: Sam Carroll
Email:
Website:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/461717494032049/?ref=share_group_linkTuesdays: 5:45pm
Fields: Grass
Description: We are on hiatus until the spring when we have more light and warmer weather. See you then!
Who we are:
————————
KOP Ultimate is a pickup group located right in the middle of King of Prussia. The group has been around for over 7 years and has grown to have one of the largest pickup ultimate Facebook groups in the area. In the past this group has been known as a more competitive pickup game, but these days we are welcoming to players of all ages and skill levels.
Our only “rule” is to be friendly and have fun!
What you’ll need:
——————————
We ask everyone to please bring a light and dark shirt for teams (gray is neither). Cleats are recommended, but not required. You probably already know this, but please bring/drink plenty of water. If you have a friend you think might be interested, bring them along!
When/where we meet:
—————————————
We have recently moved our weekly game to Tuesdays 6-dark and play from about May to September as daylight permits. We try to make the most of the daylight we have, especially at the beginning and ends of the season, so we ask players to show up around 5:45 so we are ready to start promptly at 6. We play at the field next to Candlebrook Elementary, there’s always plenty of parking in the lot adjacent to the field.
How to reach us:
——————————
If you have any questions feel free to send an email to the email address linked and I’ll be happy to respond, though you may get a quicker response asking a question in the Facebook group. In general, please check the group for updates as we post regularly and will make a post there if a game is being cancelled for weather.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/238424002200484Sundays: 9:00 AM
Fields: Grass
Description: Updated 6/1/2023
All ages and all skill levels are welcome. Our typical game includes players as young as 12 and as old as eligible for social security.
Novices are welcome. We play hard, but good spirit comes first.
Essentially all of the standard rules are followed...with some leniency on dropping the pull. We play the first half without keeping score to get everyone warmed up, take half time and usually make the second half a game to 12. Players arrive at 9:00 to throw around and we're usually rolling by 9:10.
Bring cleats, plenty of water, and white and dark shirts.
We use a Facebook group to get a head count and announce game on/off each week: https://www.facebook.com/groups/238424002200484

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1086197838250936/Saturdays: 10:00AM to 12:00PM (summer games may change to 9-11am)
Fields: Grass
Description: Weekly ultimate pick-up Saturdays 10AM to 12PM at Bush Park (3868 Burnt House Hill Rd, Doylestown, PA). We typically play at the last field/parking area of Bush Park, but if we're not there look around the park for flying plastic. All ages, genders, and skill levels are welcome. If you don't know how to play, or need a refresher, we'll teach you! The only rule is to be friendly and so far no one has broken that one! Please bring a white and a dark shirt for teams and water for yourself. Cleats are recommended, but not required. All games are subject to weather. We play through the winter. We typically have enough players for games of 7v7 + a few subs. RSVPs to the weekly game are not required, but very much appreciated so we can confirm minimum players (8) and it really helps encourage others to play when they see strong RSVPs.
See our public Facebook page for weekly updates, game RSVPS, and more. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1086197838250936/ Or email chbrowningart@gmail.com or arrand.copenhaver@gmail.com to get added to the email list.
Game time may change to 9AM-11AM in the summer to avoid midday heat.

Typically, we play on a reduced field size depending on attendance and skill level of players.
We toss the disc for about 15 minutes to warmup before I set up the field. Please text me ahead of time if you're joining! Let me know your skill level and experience as well.
