Mailing List: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/sbulti

Wednesdays: 17:45
Saturdays: 11:15

Fields: Beach
Description: This is a very regular pickup game for all skill levels on the beach in front of the East Beach Grill in Santa Barbara : http://goo.gl/maps/Cew2j

We usually manage a minimum turnout of 14 for 5v5 with 2 subs per team on a BULA regulation field, but it's typically more, especially on Saturday.

If you would like to be on the mailing list, send a request to the google group to get updates on the games - if for some strange reason the game is not happening, it will be posted to this group.

Saturdays happen all year. We have been setting up lights on Wednesday nights since the end of Daylight Savings Time, and this costs some money, so we ask people who come to this game to contribute a few dollars per game to help defray the costs.

Kimber Park Ultimate

Contact: Bob Blackstock
Phone: 818.599.2085

Sundays: 4:30 PM
Wednesdays: 5:45 PM
Saturdays: 10:30 AM

Fields: Grass
Description: This is a friendly, but competitive , game of all ages (6 to 60+) and skill levels. There are several, very experienced players (nationals/ worlds/ pros) to help you if you are just beginning (we got many of them started!)

Bring a white and a dark (not grey/ neutral) t-shirt/ jersey to play in, water, sunscreen, (perhaps a towel to dry sweat off, a folding chair, rosin for dry hands, your latest take on sports, a couple of 175 g discs, a shade tent, etc.), and a restroom.

Cleats / trail runners suggested. Bare feet not recommended.

We adhere closely to the "Eleventh Edition" rules (eg, https://www.usaultimate.org/resources/officiating/rules/11th_edition_rules.aspx).

Altho we certainly try to start on time, that's not always the case. ; 7 )

Kimber Park
3295 Bear Creek Road
Thousand Oaks, CA 91320

Parking is best on Bear Creek Dr.

On rare occasions we get bumped from Kimber (eg, field conditions, other people are already there). In that case we play at Wendy Park, which is ~1 mile south of the Kimber field, just off Wendy drive.

During the winter the Wednesday game is at the back of Sequoia Middle School (roughly Borchard Rd and Lupe Ave).

To our estimation, this is the longest playing game in the world, having been started in October, 1981, by Tom Boone, who still plays with us.
